Welcome to Georgetown Village
We're glad you're here!
Georgetown Village (GV), is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization providing services and programs in Georgetown, Burleith, Hillandale, and nearby neighborhoods. GV was established to help our neighbors age in place by providing them with a variety of support services, educational opportunities, cultural and social programming. We provide trained and vetted volunteers and when necessary professional service providers to meet our members’ needs.
Georgetown Village is part of a growing network of Villages nationwide, including many in the Washington, DC area, in which neighbors are helping neighbors thrive. Our village represents the new face of aging-in-place that allows Village members to live full lives in their own homes with the assistance of their neighbors. In this way we create a caring, supportive, local community to help seniors remain safely and happily in their own homes.
Come be part of a caring, supportive community.
The Georgetown Village is open Monday through Friday from 10 am -6 pm. Our office is located in the Penzance/Long & Foster building, on the lower level of 1680 Wisconsin Avenue NW. The office is staffed by our Executive Director, Lynn Golub-Rofrano and Administrative Assistant, Varnita Holtzclaw Mondays through Thursdays.
The office is not open on Federal Holidays.
Be sure to call before you stop by in case we are out helping one of our members or enjoying some of our trips or social activities!
