"It was the right time to join
Georgetown Village."

"My husband Guy had been diagnosed with Alzheimer disease and I was wondering how I would cope with this. As Guy’s condition progressed, I realized what a great help the Village was. Volunteers did grocery shopping for us, yard work, handiwork around the house, provided transportation, etc. In these circumstances, to know that the Village was a phone call away was a tremendous morale booster and helpful relief.

Then Guy passed away, peacefully, at home.

For Guy we joined the Village. Now, of course, Georgetown Village is still here, for me. I feel the experience was rewarding and… priceless!" - MRdL

DC CAN - DC Covid Alert Notice
DC CAN Logo

Last week DC went live with a system to automatically track when people may have been exposed to individuals who test positive for Coronavirus. But it only works if people actually use it. The good news, though, is that if you follow these simple steps, you’ve done all you need to do. The system works by sitting in the background and logging whenever you come near someone else using the system. If any of those people later test positive, you will get a notification.
There are two different sets of instructions, depending on whether you have an iPhone or an Android-based phone.

Click here for more information, and instructions to install the app.
