Wednesday, November 12th | 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. | Zoom
Join us as Penny Hansen returns to discuss important cases and decisions made by the Supreme Court recently. The presentation will focus on the major Constitutional issues being decided by a clearly activist and divided court: gun control, religion and presidential power, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed Hansen’s Village presentation in 2023 and look forward to having her return to provide an update.
Please RSVP or by calling 202-999-8988 or emailing info@georgetown-village.org.

Your organization has really helped us when we most needed it.Thanks to all involved in this wonderful community resource. ~ CB
“My husband Guy had been diagnosed with Alzheimer disease and I was wondering how I would cope with this. As Guy’s condition progressed, I realized what a great help the Village was. Volunteers did grocery shopping for us, yard work, handiwork around the house, provided transportation, etc. In these circumstances, to know that the Village was a phone call away was a tremendous morale booster and helpful relief.
Then Guy passed away, peacefully, at home. For Guy we joined the Village. Now, of course, Georgetown Village is still here, for me. I feel the experience was rewarding and… priceless!”

Our supporters know that Georgetown Village (GV) enhances our quality of life, not only for us as individuals but for our entire community. As an important resource that contributes to the well-being of our community, GV is stronger than ever but we depend upon your generosity for all that we do.
Your contributions account for nearly 70% of our annual revenues and enable us to provide the important GV services and programs that are increasingly needed, requested, and used by our members. And your generosity helps subsidize memberships to ensure that these benefits may be offered to those with limited means. We never turn anyone away for financial reasons.
